ABOUT
What the? Why the?
You'd think that after so many failures, certain people would give up and get a normal job and try to stay away from complex moving objects. Complex moving objects that quite often fail and that are also life support systems, when you think about it.
You'd think.
So, our anti-hero is a 70's born, first generation Australian, who for much of his life played football (the world game) at a sub-semi professional level, at the same time, stupidly, he also played and sang in punk bands and solo acoustic gigs and also worked a variety of different jobs and did it for the last 30 years, all because he wasn't committed enough to the first two.
So after taking more than a quarter of a century to work these things out, he thought 'What better way to be completely committed and attentive to something than to throw your life savings into that something that you know nothing about, because if you fail at sailing in the middle of an ocean, you're probably gonna not have to worry about anything else ever again'.
What a Genius!
But then again, if you somehow do manage to get somewhere, and lets face it, you really have no choice but to try, at least you'll have some sort of sense of achievement, hopefully you would have enjoyed the ride and seen some incredible places and met some incredible people along the way and most importantly you would've annoyed your mates back home, sitting in offices as you did it.
It's not all bad.
So, sit back, relax from the comfort, safety and dryness of your living room, or wherever you are, and watch a crazy man, that knows nothing about sailing, try to very quickly learn, then go to a foreign country to buy a boat, and then attempt to sail it around the world from the Greek Islands and in no particular order... to Australia, the Caribbean, and with the ultimate goal of reaching the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada.

It's a big mission, but after all, what has he got to lose?
Everything perhaps.
But at least it'll be hilarious and exciting as he does it.
What could possibly go wrong?
